Souper Bowl

Each year during Super Bowl Season,Grace competes with itself to bring in more food and funds than the previous year by participating in the Souper Bowl, an event supported by congregations of all denominations and all sizes, designed to gather items needed by local food pantries across the country.  Grace has typically turned this into a fun day of intramural wrangling, Team Loaves - vs - Team Fishes (Organ Side - vs - Pulpit Side) to see which team brings in more.  We have a meal after worship on Super Bowl Sunday and play a trivia game with half-time entertainment.

We go all out for this annual party as you can see by the photos below.

In 2015, Bishop Dillahunt was our special guest.

DartBall

Dart Ball begins in November each year. our team captain Steve Dupler is always looking for new members.  You don't need any previous experience.  All you need is a desire to enjoy some great fellowship.  For more information, contact the Church office (740) 536-7343, or speak to Steve

Honoring Marjorie Rowles

On Sunday January 26th, 2025 we recognized and honored Marjorie Rowles, a long time member of our church, for her many accomplishments and faithful service to Grace Lutheran Church. A reception was held in the parish hall after our morning worship service sponsored by S.E.T. Thank you to all who joined us as we celebrated a very special member of or congregation.

Vacation Bible School

Every year Grace has a 5 day camp for kids from preschool to elementary age. They kids have a meal and then move through stations within the church. Some activities include singing, games, crafts and Bible stories.

During our most recent Vacation Bible School we partnered with our neighboring Mambourg Park to learn about God's beautiful world.

Our Farm

We have a farm that is tended by the Elder Family, Kevin and Karl pictured at the left.  Our congregation, planted years ago in the heart of the farmland of Fairfield County remains committed to care of the soil and being faithful stewards of the ground entrusted to us.

Karl & Kevin have been featured in agricultural publications in recent years. The Columbus Dispatch Article describes our goal of preserving this farmland for future generations.   This write up tells of the award our farmers received in 2014 for their conservation efforts, the day the photo at the left was taken.
